For over a decade Business Health Resources has been helping our clients meet the challenges of one of the most pervasive and complicated issues in safety and health. Musculoskeletal injuries account for the vast majority of workplace injuries and associated costs to businesses. Our mission is to help our clients prevent and reduce these injuries one individual at a time.

Business Health Resources grew from the realization during Dr. Andrew Murro's 15 years of clinical practice that no matter what people did for a living they usually believed it was something about their job that caused their aches, pains, and injuries.
The widespread belief that our tools, equipment, job tasks, and working environments cause our problems inhibited people from making the necessary changes to their working habits and behavior.

People believed that in order for them to feel better the job itself would have to change.
It became clear that only by challenging this belief system would people make the changes necessary for them to feel better and reduce their risk of injury. Our approach is based on the reality that it is not necessarily what we do for a living but how we use our bodies to do what we do that ultimately determines our risk for aches, pains, and injuries.
In response, Business Health Resources developed a unique and proprietary learning system. In contrast to traditional methods, our approach focuses on the individual. We facilitate a process in which the individual challenges and changes their belief systems. For the first time in their lives they begin to want to change how they use their bodies at work and at home.
Over the years this distinct approach has been refined into a proven model for reducing musculoskeletal injuries resulting from slips, trips, and falls and cumulative trauma. Our approach is process oriented and tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client. It incorporates a combination of ergonomic, biomechanical, and behavior change methodologies. The end result is behavior change and ultimately a reduction in injuries.
